Standaron® – Long term calibration materials
The DRRR has concluded an extensive cooperation agreement with the Institute for Food Quality (IfL). The cooperation focuses on the joint development and marketing of long-term calibration materials for the food industry. The jointly developed materials are available under the name STANDARON® and are available for the following matrices:
raw milk
raw cream
pasteurised milk
whey
individual products
produced according to customer specification
This cooperation results in a range of services that represents a uniform reference system for raw milk analysis. This enables us to offer our national and international customers more advantages and safety.
Higher quality through STANDARON®.
The quality advantage of the materials, including linearity, precision and stability, has been clearly confirmed. In addition to the standard materials, one focus of the cooperation is to produce tailor-made, customer-specific calibration materials that are specially adapted to the respective production process. STANDARON® Long Term Calibration Materials (LKM) are preferably used for the calibration of IR devices. The reference values of STANDARON® materials are determined by selected “reference laboratories” in the food industry. These laboratories provide proof of compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 within the scope of accreditation procedures of the German accreditation body DAkkS. Specially conducted proficiency tests for material characterization with our “reference laboratories” lead to the reference values of the long-term calibration materials.
