We consider lectures, trainings and seminars as an important activity. Not primarily because of the commercial possibilities, but because knowledge transfer is the most important point in all areas of our society. We offer sSeminars on the following topics:
In-house trainings

User meeting
Typical problems in the chemical and microbiological analysis of food, especially dairy products, are presented and solutions are shown. Furthermore, efficient ways to increase laboratory quality will be shown. The meeting will be accompanied by practical presentations from users. At the user meeting there will be a lot of opportunities to exchange knowledge and experience.
Statistics seminar for beginners
During the seminar, the binomial, Poisson and normal distribution and their application are presented. Special cases and classical misinterpretations due to incorrect outlier treatment when using the normal distribution are demonstrated. The seminar is supplemented by practical exercises on a notebook.
Advanced statistics seminar
In this seminar Shapiro-Wilk test, chi² fitting test, median & MAD (median absolute deviation) and their application are presented. The robust standard deviation according to the Q-method as well as the robust Hampel estimator are also presented to the participants. The seminar is supplemented by practical exercises on the notebook.
Performance of internal audits
The participants learn all elements for the successful conduction of internal audits. In addition, typical errors in the scope of the audit execution are specifically addressed and avoidance strategies are taught. The participants are trained to recognize audit deviations and to successfully process them in the form of corrective actions. You will benefit from the extensive experience of the DRRR, which allows you to experience audit situations in a 360° perspective as an auditor, as an audited person and as a neutral assessor.
Sensory seminar
The importance of sensory in the food industry will be explained and illustrated in a practical way. The current status of the new flavors will be presented. Furthermore, the participants should be enabled to apply sensory testing methods in a targeted way. The use of sensory methods will be explained and implemented using different sensory materials. Using a practical example, the sensory measurement uncertainty of the participants will be determined.
Spreadsheet seminar with Office standard applications
The goal of this seminar is to get to know the program Microsoft Excel and its most important functions in order to be able to generate solutions for typical problems quickly and reliably in the daily routine. In addition, you will learn how to design individually tailored master files for everyday calculations using many practical examples. The course is aimed at all Excel users with basic knowledge who want to refresh, deepen and intensify their knowledge. Besides small theoretical units, the main focus of this course will be on practical exercises. These will be accompanied by several DRRR employees, so that questions and different levels of previous knowledge can be addressed individually.
Comments:
For the practical exercises you will need a laptop or comparable device with a Microsoft Windows operating system and the program with Microsoft Excel. Since the exercises and theory are demonstrated with Microsoft Excel 2019, this version is also recommended for the participants.
